Whether the audience for an effort is the public, the government or a regulatory board, the media are usually listening. We custom tailor and implement communication strategies, both internal and external, to effectively reach our audience and optimize the impact the media can have on events, issues and outcomes.
Advertising and Marketing
When a trade association wanted to position itself in the political and public eye, they chose Issues Management to develop a creative advertising and marketing campaign that would underscore the economic importance of the Port of New York and New Jersey to the region. The "Delivering Prosperity" theme was developed through an integrated advertising campaign using print media, billboards, transit cards and radio ads. The four year $3.6 million public education initiative received four regional, national and international awards for creative design, clarity of message and public reach of the program.
Media Relations
In 2001, one of the largest tissue banks in the world needed to respond to negative media stories that were affecting the entire tissue community. Issues Management was hired to handle crisis management for that specific issue and since then has become the organization's strategic communication consultant. In that role we handle all media relations for them. We have also helped them develop a new website, provided media training, worked on social media and website analytics. Over time, our client's senior management has become media savvy and better equipped for any future challenges.
