Roger Schwarz brings to Issues Management insightful, effective expertise in governmental relations, legislative and regulatory affairs, and business consulting, acquired during more than 35 years in public service, private practice and industry in New Jersey and Washington.

At Issues Management his work on behalf of clients continues a concentration on solar and renewable energy, public utility, environmental and labor matters that was the focus of his private practice based in Trenton and Princeton.

For ten years, Schwarz was a senior governmental affairs manager at Public Service Electric and Gas Company for much of that time heading up the company's federal lobbying initiatives. Prior to joining PSE&G, Schwarz served as the first executive director of the New Jersey Utilities Association, a trade group, where he represented electric, gas, water and telecommunications companies.

A former Deputy Attorney General, Schwarz served as special assistant and then executive assistant to two New Jersey Attorneys General and as legislative liaison for the state's Department of Law and Public Safety.

He is a graduate of Lehigh University and Boston University School of Law and is a member of the environmental and public utility sections and the renewable energy committee of the New Jersey State Bar Association.  A resident of Princeton, Schwarz was recently elected to the board of trustees at the Morristown-Beard School.
